Negative: No shower gel or shampoo were provided; the balcony light was on all night and that affected my room.

Positive: Olivia GuestHouse is like staying in someone's beautiful home. The Staff especially Borah and Halima are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The family room was massive with an outside area and huge bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the a/c worked really well. The breakfast was a typical large Tanzanian breakfast plenty to set you up for the day. If you are looking for a home from home,in a very quiet but accessible area of Mwanza,this is for you. It's not luxurious but it is very homely and comfortable. Tuk Tuks and taxis are cheap through Bolt app and cost on average 2000tsh in tuk tuk or 3000tsh in a taxi into town .

Negative: Only one small thing. You have to order food in the evening from outside and the menu for the cafe they use is expensive by Tanzanian prices.

Positive: Olivia Guesthouse is in a nice place surrounded by trees in a quiet area, a short, safe walking distance away from the city centre. Our room was big, with two comfy beds and a nice balcony. All was very clean and the staff was helpful.

Positive: Nice spacious property in a quiet area of mwanza not far from the water or the viewpoint. Almost too quiet that it was hard to find staff, whoever you text on WhatsApp just tells you to find the reception staff in the building. Laundry price was far too expensive. Substantial breakfast
