Positive: Great, charming property. Loved it, great location easy walk to nearby Engelbrect caves and into town. Property well maintained, thoughtful hosts who provided fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. Highly recommend :)

Positive: The location is central, and it is convenient to access the shops in the CBD and many tourist attractions are within walking distance. The house maintains its original charm and is well-maintained and tidy. It is also well-appointed and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The hosts very generously provided bread, milk, fruit, and a bottle of wine. All bed linen and towels are provided. The water pressure is good.

Negative: The not-so-good: This property is on the main highway, and despite the two front windows being double-glazed, traffic noise affects the bedrooms. The bedrooms on the side street do not have double glazing. We stayed three nights (a Saturday, Sunday and Monday). It was noisy the entire time. There is also a neighbour's dog that barks quite a bit. The blinds do not block out the morning sun in the front bedroom. The back door ramp is steep. I had to hold my partner's hand to feel secure and not lose my footing. This may be an issue for the disabled or elderly.

Positive: Clean and very comfortable with a few little extras for us. Fresh milk in fridge, bread, fruit and a bottle of wine.

Negative: If anything a neighboring dog barked quite a lot while we were there but luckily we were out and about some of the day.

Positive: Beautiful comfortable beds. Very clean property. Full bath and the shower had great pressure. A bottle of wine left for us (a lovely thought). Heaters on for us as we arrived late.

Negative: Some traffic noise in front bedroom, as it faces the highway but cannot be helped, did not worry us.

Summary: Have stayed before (this was our 3rd stay) and will stay again if we find ourselves in Mt Gambier.
