Positive: Historical location, in the heart of Lemona village, like a trip back in time. Medieval stone houses surrounded by a lush garden. Very nice hosts, Marcelina and Nick. At walking distance from the famous Tsangarides winery. Wine tasting recommended.

Negative: We did not stay long enough.

Summary: Fascinating history, natural beauty, hospitality and friendship, all in one place.

Positive: It was the perfect place to come back to after a fieldtrip our to stay and relax. You can easily visit al the hotspots on the westside of the island. Its peacefull and has a beautifull garden, which you can see from the roofterras. And they have a cat and sometimes a chicken you can spot. The hosts are very friendly and have good tips. We hope to come back!

Positive: Lemona is a lovely quiet village and Nic and Marcelina were marvellous hosts providing us with maps and walking suggestions and local knowledge. The winery is 5 minutes walk and is very good. It was beautiful eating our meals outdoors in the luxuriant garden.

Positive: A lovely little cottage - set in a marvellous garden - in a quiet village. A great location away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. But close enough to get in easily to see the sights and have a meal. And well located for walks and day trips out to other parts of the island. The hosts are fab. There's some great tavernas within easy striking distance. And wonderful local wines to be sampled at the wineries (and monasteries) in the area. Including one right on the doorstep!

Negative: Not applicable... We liked everything!

Summary: A real find. We had a lovely time. Jenny, the friendly house cat, is an added bonus!
