Positive: It was the best hotel in our trip to Norway. The lake is literaly 2 mins walk where you can find free water activities like pedal boats or boats with ores. They have the life jacket, bbq facilites and nice sitting area right at the edge of the olden lake. Room is equipped with all facilities (stove, pots and pans, cutlery, heater, kettle, tea coffee maker). The only thing room needs is a biddet to accomodate guests from different culture and faith.

Positive: Amazing location!!! The camp ground is top notch. They have thought of everything detail! free boats and kayak to use as well as bikes. Picnic area with places for a fire. Laundry. Guides to local hikes. Near by saunas and glacier.

Positive: The amazing location with fjord and mountain views. We were in cabin 4. There were 2 bedrooms, one with a family bunk bed. 120cm wide below and 75cm above. The second bedroom has a bunk bed where both are 75cm wide. Toilet and sink. Shared shower close by. We took our own bed linen and towels otherwise that is extra. Otherwise all you need for a short stay.

Negative: There was no extractor fan in the toilet so as there was no window, just a small ventilation hole and it was right next to the kitchen area I found this to be a problem. In the second bedroom the area between the bed and the wall is extremely small so not suitable for larger people. This can however be seen in the photos they post on their site so no surprises there. I brought the extremely squeaky toilet door to their attention so hopefully that will be fixed for the next guests.

Summary: Small cabin with large veranda and amazing views.

Positive: Beautiful and well run place, the cabin was the coziest we've got in our vacations in Norway. Cleanliness is top-notch. Friendly and professional staff. Free kayak and rowing boat. Exceptional playground for kids.

Negative: It's a shame to stay only one night. We tried to arrange our planning to go back at Oldevatn Camping.

Positive: The location was good as we checked in right after we visited Briksdal Glacier. It was around 10-15mins from there. The instructions during check in was clear and we could park our car right beside our cottage. There is a washer/dryer that is available to be use for 60NOK each. It was very comfortable and the area is very very pretty...
