Positive: The property is very nice and in a good location. Garden is secure for dogs. Within walking distance to the local pub an hotel which has a great bar. Chocolate factory is also within walking distance but be warned its very expensive. Also white water rafting is right on the doorstep.

Negative: Property was supposed to have been cleaned but we were presented with an unwanted gift from a small dog or cat in the conservatory, also a massive stain on one seat which looked old so we shut the door and stayed out of that room. There was nowhere near enough large glasses and the ones that were there were cracked and chipped around the rim so no good to drink from. Toilet seat was split in half which owner did message us about once we arrived, so we accepted his apology and kept the kids out of there. There is a log fire which only had two logs, we messaged the owner about where we could buy more as soon as we arrived but over the 4 nights we never got a reply so didn't use the fire. There was no complementary coffee, tea or sugar or any kind of welcome pack which we have had in cheaper accommodation and minimal cleaning liquids for pots dishwasher etc.All small points really but an honest review.

Positive: Lovely house and location. Well equipped. Good quality finish. Great DVD and book collection!

Negative: We didn't like mattresses and pillows. No wood for the fireplace.

Summary: Beautiful house. We wish we had more days in the house.
