Positive: The location is very nice. Our addionally booked husky tour was very good. Most staff was very nice. The lodge consists of several buildings. Our room was in the Hotel building.

Negative: I am traveling with my son and we stayed in the family room. The member of staff showing us to our room remarked that my son might be noisy, I said well at least not at midnight (or any time during sleeping hours), his remark was that also the staff sleeps in the same building and the walls are thin and its all wood, so a noisy child would disrupt leisure time of the staff. That rooms are very plain like a Hostel, but with 150€ for the family room in the price range of a comfortable Hotel. My friend booked and stayed in a separate room, we were the only guests. But the staff actually made noise until midnight, talking in the lounge etc. Most of the staff were really nice, but that gentlemen was rather rude and made us feel very unwelcomed. In total the offering including the service provided and the price did not match.

Positive: beautiful and clean accommodation. We had a private cabin and it was very cozy. The staff is very friendly and the dogs are the best. On our trip around Finland, we stayed in several places and we liked this place the most 😊

Positive: Interesting remote location, far from city lights so you can watch the stars and northern lights (if you're lucky), you can wander into the forest, amazing dogs. Peaceful area.

Negative: This is mainly a working farm and a workplace for volunteers, hotel function and hospitality are not a priority. Most of the typical things a hotel/accommodation has and is are not here. It is basic in both the equipment and in the welcome, for the price. Think - countryside youth hostel. I would recommend this place more for the husky sledge ride than for a stay. But if you do - stay in the cabin with the view on the stars.
