Positive: Only 15 minutes from Longleat! great position for travelling to all of the touristy areas. Nice village, a park for the kids and dog less than 10 minutes walk away. Lovely village pub down the road would highly recommend the Weavers enjoyed the quiz night with the family. Cottage has everything you need no complaints. Host was lovely and helpful. Reasonably priced.

Positive: Great location, easy to get to longleat and bath. Price Owners were pleasant. They visited twice over the 4 days we stayed.

Negative: Ant and snail issue. Every morning, there were snail tracks over the front room carpet and ants in the kitchen. The interior was dated and needs renovation. The aga oven and hobs were not easy to use and were slow to cook food. Shared garden, which is not suitable for kids or dogs off lead and is overlooked by builders working on a neighbours property.

Summary: Nice location but dated property, which is not suitable for young families.

Positive: Loved the location, it was a good home base to many of the spots we visited. The cottage was very cute and cosy with a lovely garden to view. The host Penny was nice and very friendly. There was a pub, The Weaver just a short walk up the road with nice food. A Tesco about a 5min drive in the opposite direction to grab milk, tea etc. The cottage was perfect for our 4 night stay.

Negative: Would have been nice to have some teabags available in the kitchen and a full roll of toilet paper but not really a complaint. We went and bought some from the tesco up the road.

Summary: Perfect home base for our visit to the area

Positive: Quiet, cosy, well equipped for self catering, woodburner with kindling & logs supplied, very comfortable beds, ample hot water, lovely friendly host Penny. 5 mins drive Tesco Exoress, 5 mins walk good food pub The Weavers. 30 drive to Bath. Highly recommended

Negative: Only one toilet in bathroom with shower

Summary: Cosy comfortable cottage - extremely good value for money
