Positive: We had an amazing stay! Very nice home! The host was amazing and so very helpful! Helped us park and brought our luggage! Amazing breakfast. The ac was extremely nice. Very quaint. Helped get us a great table/dinner reservations.

Positive: Eloiza was very nice to us and welcoming, she helped us with luggage from and back to the car with her little cute electric car. She brought us a very delicious home made breakfast and we had a lovely stay at her beautiful house with nice terrace. Highly recommended!

Positive: Eloiza welcomed us with her warm hospitality. She picked us up in her little car from the parking lot, helped with our luggage and made a dinner reservation for us. She brought us some ice cream to beat the heat in the evening. The following morning, she brought us a big breakfast which included a Portuguese biscuits which seemed homemade. She was very thoughtful, caring, and kind. Thank you!

Positive: Book the Old House Holiday Home in the village of Monsanto and you will not be disappointed! It is very unique with a boulder inside the bathroom and bedroom. Eloiza and Fernando were so friendly and welcoming. Eloiza even met us down the hill in her electric car where we parked at the canons, so she could pick up our luggage and take it up to the house. She also served us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Fernando spent time welcoming us and talking about the history of the Old House and Monsanto. We really enjoyed joining the locals in the street during our one night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! The Old House and boulder town will always be a special memory of our family's trip to Portugal. The hike up through the buildings built into the boulders to the Castle used in "House of the Dragon/Game of Thrones" was incredible. Thank you Eloiza and Fernando!

Positive: I've been to hundreds of hotels and have only rarely had an experience as unique and beautiflul as this. How can a whole house be available for this price? I would have paid four times the amount that I did and have felt I got the proper value for my money. Honestly, Fernando and Eloiza should charge much more than they do. A bedroom, a loft, a living room, and a kitchen, all well appointed and welcoming. A porch with a view unexcelled. Oh! and Eloiza brought a full spread for breakfast! Unbelievable. And Monsanto? This is a must see village. There are other LIsbons in the world but only one Monsanto. No one could possibly stay in this home in this village and be disappointed.

Positive: The property was absolutely amazing from the historic artifacts displayed throughout, the encased boulder in the main bedroom, the comfortable beds and awesome breakfast hosted by Eloiza. The location was perfect and we loved our stay.

Negative: I loved everything about the property and and the wonderful hosts Eloiza and Fernando.

Summary: Our stay in Monsanto was amazing and I would love to go back again some day and would definitely stay with Eloiza again.
