Positive: I didn't eat it because I left early before it was prepared. They offered to keep it for me, but I was busy and did not return to eat it.

Positive: Our hosts were friendly and helpful . The breakfast was wholesome , healthy and tasty !

Negative: It would be helpful on the english language booking sites and all correspondence to include the chinese name . This will make the location easier to find in apps like google maps. I think my email to the owners asking directions without a car was not received … it was a bit of a challenge getting there but worth it in the end . The homestay is actually quite easy to get to by bus from Luodong . If you want to take the 1750 bus to Taipingshan , buy your ticket in advance and board at the GuoXingYuanZhan 国兴园站 bus stop 200 m from the old house homestay . A car or motorbike will be handy but we went without and took advantage of the 1750 bus to visit the mountain and go to a hot spring while we were there.

Positive: quiet, lovely gardens, many birds around, very good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Building and fittings were good quality. Very clean. Will return with family.

Negative: Bed side lamp needed for beds, as was difficult to read at night

Negative: Found a huge cockroach under the duvet , I was shocked and the breakfast area was super hot and it doesn't seem hygienic to me , Taiwan cockroaches are everywhere..
