Positive: This lovely property is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings on the banks of the river Severn. We were welcomed on our arrival by the owner Robin, who served us tea and cake on the terrace overlooking the gardens. Our room, which was tastefully and beautifully decorated (and spotlessly clean) had stunning views towards the Wrekin. Robin and Louise have thought of many touches to make your stay relaxing, from the very comfortable bed, the amenities in the room such as a mini fridge with bottled water, to the delicious breakfasts, which set us up for the day. This is honestly the best B & B we’ve ever stayed in and we hope to return.

Positive: Having read the reviews when we booked we did have high expectations so we were delighted that our experience was every bit as good, if not better than expected. Robin and Louise were very welcoming and were able to advise on local pubs and walks. They also recommended a visit to a Christmas market in nearby Much Wenlock, including bus details to avoid the need to take the car as parking was likely to be limited - great advice and we thoroughly enjoyed the market on a crisp winters day. Old Hall Cressage has been lovingly restored with superb guest rooms and even a beautiful lounge for guest use. Extensive gardens lead down to the River Severn and in the distance you get a great view of the Wrekin, which I imagine will be even better in the summer. Lastly, the breakfast choice, with plenty of local produce, was superb! We really want to visit again and to enjoy it in the summer.

Negative: Could not fault anything. Everything was good.

Positive: A characterful, beautifully furnished and immaculately kept house, set in lovely grounds overlooking the river Severn. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a panoramic view. An excellent breakfast of locally sourced fresh produce, cooked to order. Robin and Louise are very charming and friendly hosts. We would definitely stay here again.
