Positive: We loved all the high quality features of this property, from decor, to the bedding and furniture, it was everything you’d want a cottage to be. Clean and crisp, spacious too. It was good for the mind, no clutter. Heating system was great, too! The property was also really private and very quiet, tranquil actually. Hosts were great, they gave us our privacy but at the same time we knew we could reach out for anything at all, they had it all perfect with a gorgeous welcome basket on our arrival. We felt looked after.

Negative: Nothing at all, only that we couldn’t stay longer!!

Summary: Quiet, peaceful and cosy! The perfect place to get away from it all.

Positive: Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Welcome pack was very nice and thoughtful. Towels and linens were of good quality, and beds were comfortable. Our owners daughter was very nice, even down to the point of offering to post back, a tea caddy that had been left behind.

Negative: My only observation, I think the everyday cutlery could be increased......silly having to waste energy ,water, and tablets everyday in the dishwasher, because we used more than 6 knives etc in the course of a day. Not sure how a small family of 4 would cope?

Positive: The accommodation was very clean and in a convenient location. The cottage facilities were good.

Negative: We did not like the last day orders to strip the bed and put the bedsheets in a bag ready for washing, leave no washing up in the dishwasher or on the drainer, empty the bins and be out by 10:00am. In my opinion, these are normal tasks that the cleaner should do. We will always leave accommodation clean and tidy but do not need to do half the cleaners work for them. The second bedroom on-suite was very small.
