Summary: Overall the hotel met our needs, however: - we arrived at around 7.30pm to be told the restaurant was closed for refurb. Tbh we can live with that but it would have been nice to know in advance. - On going to the room, it hadn't been remade from the previous visitor. This was corrected by the person checking us in, whilst we were out for a meal. Non of the above would stop us visiting again as it is a lovely old place in a lovely location.

Summary: Convenient for St Ives. Beautiful riverside location in Peaceful rural village. Could be imptoved by having filter coffee at breakfast.

Summary: The building is lovely, bar is nice and food ok but not much choice. Room decor very tired, chunks of plaster falling off. Bathroom dates and damp smell, not sure how often it’s cleaned as small piece of soap in shower been there for ages.

Summary: Beautiful location right on the river bank. We had 2 nights at this amazing hotel. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. The was a great choice for breakfast. The location is stunning with a large beer garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged a 6 seater taxi for us into St Ives which is a beautiful town which happened to have a jazz an and blues festival and a food market. The menu offers a good choice of food in this historic pub. We will definitely be retuning. Thank you Ben and the team
