Summary: This review is for the hotel only. Park was great but the Inn was awful. No parking. No room service. No Wi-Fi, no TV, no fridge, no microwave - they call this being sustainable. Radiators for heat produced knocking sound making it hard to sleep. Sound proofing between rooms - nonexistent which also affected our sleep. General store was closed - bottled water at gift shop was very expensive. All nice seating around the big fireplace and main lobby got filled quickly evening time so we couldn't enjoy it (we had 4 people). Signs around the park and the Inn were terrible. Composite walks around the geysers were dangerously slippery when wet - why not just keep using wood? We only ate dinner and lunch around the hotel - food was overpriced and low quality. Hard to make dinner reservation at the Inn for the time you want and 40-50 min wait at Snow Lodge. Bottom line - only good thing about the Inn was the location and the looks of the hotel. The management gets so many people each year that they don't really care about your experience. They know that most people would not come back - it's a classic tourist trap.

Summary: Pretty outdated, No wifi, and limited dining options. The coffee bar and adult beverage bar on the second floor is the best place to watch Old Faithful though. For a room, I would highly recommend staying at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge just across the parking lot instead. It is modern, has a nicer restaurant, and has internet too.

Summary: Very easy access to upper geyser basin and old faithful. No wifi in the inn, not a lot of choice food in the restaurant at the inn at the end of the season ( end of September) . However excellent options for food at snowlodge , so had to walk a distance to get a good meal Had excellent barista, bar, gift shop and great deck to watch old faithful errupt

Summary: Being geyser side was so much fun. Able to watch Old Faithful anytime of day and night. The history and grandeur of the Inn is spectacular. I don't recommend eating at the restaurant inside the inn. The other food options were much better.

Summary: Breakfast & dinner was buffet. Just ok. I ate here with my son 25 years ago. He had big fluffy pancakes and applewood smoked bacon served to him for breakfast. He was in heaven! Bring back the good old days ! If you've never stayed at The Old Faithful Inn , its a must !
