Positive: The staff, the location, the attention to detail. And of course, the food. The chocolate and banana dessert was among the most exciting puds we had ever tasted. Downton is simply one of the most enjoyable and most relaxing places to stay. This was our second visit in five years and if anything it has got even better in that time.
