Positive: The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay. We visited in July when the temperatures were really high, but the AC and the wooden window doors made our inside stay perfect, we didn't struggle with the heat at all, which was great. Bed was comfy, living room couch also comfy, kitchen equipped perfectly to cook light or heavier meals. Location wise it's great, very close to 2 metro stations, some bus stations around, very close to a supermarket. Plenty restaurants, pastry shops and bars nearby. It was great to go on the small balcony in the morning and sip some coffee as the sun wasn't shining on that side yet. Definitely recommend this and I would return in the future.

Negative: There was a bit of a sewer smell in the bathroom sometimes, but we didn't stay much in the apartment, so it wasn't a huge problem.

Summary: Excellent, comfy stay in spacious, well-equipped apartment!

Positive: Location was great.

Negative: The hot water heater was no where near enough for our family of 5, we had to shower in shifts waiting an hour in between for the tank to get hot. It was only a problem when we got back after a long day, we were all tired, and it was freezing cold out. For a smaller group, or during warmer months it would have been no issue.

Summary: The neighborhood was amazing. I would stay here again when we return to Madrid.

Positive: Location is excellent.

Negative: Getting access to the apartment was incredibly frustrating. You have to download an app to get in. I didn't have good wifi or cell access in Madrid, so it was painfully slow to download the app. There is no one on site to help. I called the number provided and was literally yelled at by the guy on the line - he could only repeat to me that I should have read the email and I should have downloaded the app prior to arrival. That didn't help in the moment. Eventually someone buzzed us in to the building so I could at least access the wifi, but that didn't give us access to the actual apartment. It took more than an hour to gain entry. Also, they require a hefty deposit (which I didn't notice in the description, if it's even there, I don't know), and they won't give you access to the room without paying the deposit. Guess how you pay the deposit? Some other idiotic technological masterpiece they've designed to make you pull your hair out in frustration. Just an all around disaster, topped off by getting yelled at by someone for not reading my emails.

Summary: If you like downloading idiotic apps for one-time use, have fun with this one.

Negative: One of the rooms does not have a blind, so it is very bright . When u stay for 4 days, u expect a cleaning or at least change of towels and toilet paper additional. We requested it but were not given.
