Summary: Everything was ok but Don't use SPA and special massage in SPA which was too much expensive than your normal thought, like a gangstars.

Summary: I stayed in the Okura Garden Hotel for 5 nights whilst exploring Shanghai and seeing friends - and have no regrets with my choice. The location is perfect for exploring the French concession area, with a vibrant coffee/cafe, brunch and bar culture - you won’t be able to experience them all! It’s a 2 min walk away from South Shanxi station making travel easy from the airport and to explore further afield. The hotel itself is classic and traditional in style, but still has the feeling of being recently renovated - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were highlights in particular. If you’re not too keen on staying in a super crowded and touristy location (ie Nanjing Road) and want to experience a vibrant Shanghai neighbourhood this is for you!

Summary: Beautiful, elegant and historic hotel within a well landscaped garden which is rare in Shanghai. Well preserved grand building in the former French Quarter and close to boutiques for lovely “qipaos” and fashionable clothes .

Summary: The view from the room( on the 26th floor ) is beautiful. Lounge is the place for relaxing while having a cup of tea with some foods and desserts. There are many selections for the breakfast buffet and foods are tasty. The hotel is in good location——shopping and transportation are walkable distance. Enjoying staying in garden hotel .

Summary: Good location but the hotel is old, the service is almost inexistant, and everything is mediocre compared to the actual Okura in Tokyo. I came here because of the Tokyo one and I’m leaving so disappointed by this experience in Shanghai.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Okura Garden Hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building in The Former French Concession. The location is great with multiple subway lines close by and walkable to many sights. The room and beds were very comfortable as well a nice bath. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Shanghai.
