It is close to the historic village of Wakefield, with golf course,cafe and gallery
Easily found off State Highway6,only 20 minutes from Nelson and one hour from Nelson Lakes. It is central located for accomodation when wishing to explore both Nelson and Tasman regions. Ideal if you wish to travel north or south via the West coast

Summary: If you are looking for a lovely, modern cottage that is super clean and warm, with a fully-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and lots of outdoor space, in a beautiful setting, then you will find it at Oka Cottage. Elspeth and Don are friendly and relaxed, and perfect hosts. This is a great base for exploring the local region.. and our pooch loved the huge lawn to race around on and play!

Summary: My husband and me plus our dog spent 4 nights at Oka Cottage. The hosts were lovely, very friendly but not imposing. The cottage is lovely and there is a great area for dogs to run and play. Our dog loved it. The area is great. All in all a great, relaxing trip. Would definitely stay again.
