Positive: It was absolutely worth the money, we had a spacious nice room. The owner lived some years in Japan so the place had a little touch of it. The hotel is run by a family and they really took care of everything and helped us with all we needed.The place is only some steps away from central Tam Coc and the boat tour area.

Negative: The shower pressure was a little weak

Summary: Came with low expectations, left absolutely happy about the place!

Positive: Located in the middle of tam coc tucked round the corner from the noise. Rooms were lovely, big, spacious and clean. Very comfy beds and towels, shower gel etc are also provided which is a bonus. The host family is great! We were checking in very late, around 2am due to delays but the hosts still accommodated us :). Breakfast is good, especially on the patio. No request was too much! Will book again if I’m ever in Ninh Binh!

Positive: This is a conveniently located spot just moments walk from the heart of Tam Coc. The family who run it are all extremely helpful and can sort tours, onward transport and more. The Japanese design of the property is great and overall it was very peaceful. The room has a fridge and good air con.

Negative: As I stayed for about a week the last three days, and a few other days, the room was not cleaned, including the bins not being emptied. I'm sure if i had of asked it would have been sorted, but I do also expect these things just to be done, even if staying for an extended period. Just something to bear in mind if staying more than a few nights.

Positive: Friendly family run homestay. Room was very clean and fixtures were well thought-out. Lots of hooks and hanging space in the room. Nice and clean.

Negative: The roof cavity between the rooms has no insulation so you can literally hear everything from the next room. The door to the room is opaque glass which lets in the hallway light at night making it difficult to sleep.

Positive: Super nice couple runs the place, along with their parents who are also very accommodating. Delicious breakfast (I always got the bun rieu). Centrally located. Spacious and clean room with a nice view of the mountains. The husband helped us get sleeper bus tickets and also helped us find the bus at night when the station was closed.

Negative: the shower is from Japan (I hesitate to call it Japanese-style since I never encountered a showerhead like this in Japan), and only has either stinging mist or hose settings, which wasn't our favorite. Very minor.

Positive: The staff was extremely nice and friendly, we felt very welcome. The place had all the amenities we needed, including a motorbike rent and laundry. The breakfast is very nice as well. Rooms were super clean and neat. Location was super central to all cafes and restaurants. Super quiet at night as well.

Negative: Hard to find something we didn’t like.
