Negative: We used to come here every year as a treat and always loved it. We moved out of the area and were driving through and wanted to stay again. The room was tiny, the bathroom tiny, and outdated. There were a pile of beer cans in the common area and trash all over there the next morning. This is not the beautiful place we remembered and we were very dissatisfied

Positive: Staff was really welcoming and the public areas were well appointed. We enjoyed the out door pool. They were able to give us a roll away bed which was a nice perk. Our room had a patio which was a nice feature to be able to walk out onto the grounds.
Negative: Our room was in an older wing and it was showing its age. Wall paper was showing some seams in our room. The beds were not very comfortable.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful location! Had a wonderful dinner at Trace. There are many things to do such as golf, horseback riding, walking, and a nice coffee shop. Lodge was very warm and welcoming.
Negative: We were there during the golf Masters tournament… could not pick it up on the TV channels. That was a bummer.
Summary: It was a peaceful and quiet get away in a beautiful mountain setting.
