Positive: Superb hosts so welcoming and helpful. Place is absolute gem, immaculate, breakfast was 10 out of 10. Never go back a place twice but booking for next year.

Negative: The shower could do with an upgrade to a power shower.

Summary: Very quiet & chilled place to relax. Adrian & Viv were excellent hosts & the breakfast first class.

Positive: The location was great, close to town but isolated enough to feel out in the countryside. Great breakfast, accommodating hosts, private entry with patio, comfortable rooms.

Negative: Perhaps there are a few too many notes in the room. While the hosts were very nice, every table and piece of furniture had instruction / do's and dont's laminated notices on them. Appreciate that the hosts want to protect their B&B from any damage ,but the number of do and don't notes was over the top.

Summary: Nice place to stay, just follow the many the instruction notes in the rooms.

Positive: Location. Had superb grounds. Well thought out rooms with the little fridge. Owners were welcoming and went out of their way to enhance the stay (early arrival for use of pool).

Negative: Didn’t sell their home made jam!! Would be ideal to have had an en-suite bathroom but that’s being a bit picky.

Summary: Comfortable and welcoming. Would highly recommend and would stay theire again.

Positive: Location is great, hosts were brilliant and very helpful. Standards at the lodge are very high and it is a lovely place to stay.

Negative: I felt the room was slightly overpriced as it had a separate private bathroom and I think was priced as an en suite. This didn't detract from my stay, but was a minor inconvenience. Perhaps ithis should be made clearer when booking rather than once on site.
