Summary: We had a fantastic stay. The house is clean, convenient, and comfortable. The beach is fantastic for beachcombers of all ages. The location is perfect: convenient for runs to Cheboygan or Rogers City, but feeling remote when you want to get away. We loved it!

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about this rental experience! The cabin is lovely. It’s cozy and inviting. Cool enough with windows open, and warm enough with them closed. It was the perfect time of year for this visit. The items we needed for cooking and meal times were all there. The pantry was stocked for routine use too. There’s plenty of space to spread out and do your own thing, and enough room to hang out together and play games or watch videos. There’s no tv service, and cell signal is spotty (as described in the listing), but we watched some DVDs and were able to use our phones when we needed to use them. I think we could have streamed on the firestick, but we had plenty of other things to do. We spent a lot of time looking at rocks and swimming/splashing around. The beachfront is rocky but there are paths all over. The water was warm where it was shallow. The kids had fun being able to get in and out of the water when they wanted. There were water toys and yard toys we could use. The whole setup was perfect. My favorite part of the house was the sun room. All of the vertical windows open so you can enjoy the breeze and the relaxing sound of water on the shore. My favorite part of the outside was the fire pit area with the wooden swing and beach chairs. We loved sitting by the fire and watching the sky change colors. The owner was easy to reach and very personable. I can’t wait to rent this beautiful place again.

I booked this place for a weekend getaway with five of my close friends and all of us were blown away by the stunning views and serene atmosphere. The cabin is nestled in a wooded area, overlooking the partially frozen lake and providing breathtaking views that are nothing short of magical. The lake is feet away from your doorstep! It was such a peaceful setting, and we felt instantly relaxed and at ease as soon as we arrived. The cabin itself was just as impressive as the location. It was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities that we needed to feel right at home. We particularly loved the rustic decor and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, which gave it a real sense of personality and charm. Our beds were comfortable, and we loved being able to cook our own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our morning coffee while taking in the stunning views of the lake and watching big ships pass by. Michael was a welcoming and attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They provided us with firewood, extra blankets, and all the necessities to make this a memorable experience.
