Summary: Unfortunately we were there when Debby came through. Master bedroom rain came through the ceiling lights. Guest room ceiling leaked in 3 places flooding the floors. Basement bay window leaked through and flooded the floor. Basement bathroom had mold all over. Could be a lovely home but needs a lot of work. Won’t stay again

Summary: The house was perfect for us. Enough room for people to spread out but having the big table as a gathering spot for meals and games was great. Also loved having two washers and two dryers.

Summary: This is a beautiful large house that was big enough for our family of 12, and I certainly appreciated that they allowed pets since houses like that are getting harder to find. It looked like the backside of the outside of the house needed some work but I wasn’t upset about it as I know the salty water can cause some issues over time. The inside of the house was well maintained and the extra appliances definitely helped with our larger group keeping up with dishes, laundry and food. The location of the house was very low key with not much to do in that area, but it sits in between Emerald and Atlantic so most things were within a short driving distance. The only complaint anyone really had was the very bottom rooms were hotter than the rest of the house, but other than that the house was awesome as the kids put it and were wanting me to book it again for next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family and if we do decide to come back to the area we would definitely rent this home again if it’s available!

Summary: I don’t want to post negatively because the owner seems like a great guy, but this place needs some TLC. It has potential to be worth its price, but it’s not there yet. The pool table is for kids, I’ll start and finish with that. As I said, I don’t want to be negative. The house has very comfortable beds, and amazing views. Its location is close to some great local dining. Despite this we wouldn’t stay here again. This was a group of retired Marines and we are used to a luxurious home with NO issues. For this price you expect that.

Summary: Overall the place was clean and plenty of room. The windows on main floor need some updating because a few are difficult to see the fantastic view. The view is everything and the ease at watching grandkids go up and down the beach was so relaxing. Kitchen and dining was a great area because our group was huge. Great time.
