This delightful home in Yachats features spectacular ocean views, a private hot tub, nearby beach access, and a comfortable, homey feeling that will make you feel welcome. With space for six people and two dogs, everyone will love it here!
Located toward the south end of Yachats, this home is within a short drive of the restaurants, galleries, and market in town. You may want to take a three-minute drive south to Cape Perpetua, one of the very best viewpoints on the entire coast, which also has fascinating tide pools, great hiking trails, and rugged, rocky coastline. Or, if you want to visit other coastal cities, Florence is a 25-mile drive to the south, and Newport is 25 miles north.
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home can easily accommodate six guests, and you may even bring two dogs with you! An additional nightly pet fee will apply. The large windows in the living area provide amazing views of the ocean, so you can watch the waves roll in and out without even leaving the comfort of the couch!
You will find plenty of entertainment options here, ranging from the cable TV with DVD player, wireless Internet, and board games to the more serene wood-burning fireplace. With reclining chairs facing toward the windows, you may choose to forgo the electronics and spend an afternoon watching for birds and maybe an occasional whale!
A full kitchen has everything you may need to cook during your stay, and a laundry room means nobody will have to worry about trying to keep their clothes clean during the vacation. A sunroom is a great place to spend time during the day, and at night the futon folds out into a bed for visitors. Summary: It was convenient, right by ocean, so could just sit n read n crochet and listen to and watch the waves n sunlight dancing... Ice cream n coast food (fish, chowder) close .. close to Sea Lion Caves... Everything was wonderful and fully as expected!!!

Summary: Everything about this house and surroundings was absolutely beautiful being able to hear the ocean right outside was so amazing. The house was clean, bed was comfy, and the bathroom had awesome water pressure!!! The town of Yachats is one of my favorites on the Oregon coast. We will definitely be coming back to this home.

Summary: This house is older but very well maintained and comfortable. When the lookout across the street is empty there is an incredible view! Cars do not block your view but we had vans spending the night and a bus pulled in one morning. Otherwise we loved sitting there sipping our coffee and enjoying the ocean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Hot tub was not working. Overall we had a nice couple of days in Yachats.

Summary: This is the 3rd year coming back to Patty's. We love the location and all the space we have. It's like our home away from home. Also, my dog liked the big fenced yard to run around. One negative was the hot tub needs instructions. It was hot the first night, but then we went to use it again on the 3rd night and it was cold. It took awhile to heat up. We just had know idea how to work the buttons. Also, the carpet in the kitchen is dirty looking. The sleep number bed also is a little uncomfortable and takes a while to get used to or adjusted. All around a great week! I wish we could have stayed longer!
