Stunningly situated on rugged coastal bluffs with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, this five-bedroom home on the outskirts of Fort Bragg is a place for whale watching, entertaining in unforgettable style, and simply relaxing in the fresh, fragrant ocean air. Amazing in-home amenities included a brand-new private hot tub, Tesla charger, a Peloton bike, a four-hole disc golf course, a basketball hoop, lawn bocce ball, cornhole, and a selection of 30 board, diced, and card games. A gated driveway leads to this oceanfront property, a single-level home in an open, bluff-top meadow where eucalyptus ensure privacy from the road. Enter by way of a garden courtyard that's wonderfully sheltered from the wind, yet you can still take in views of the ocean from the small chalet housing the brand new private hot tub.
Inside, you'll be greeted by walls of windows on the west side of the house that ensure gorgeous sunset views from the great room, the kitchen, and even the bedrooms. The main living space is open and full of light, offering a lofty ceiling of exposed natural wood, oak floors, and a four-sided gas fireplace that anchors the center of the room. To one side of that fireplace is an elegant kitchen with stainless steel appliances, natural honed slate countertops, and a large island with bar seats for four. Around the other sides are two oceanfront sitting areas, a dining room table, and a flatscreen TV to enjoy once the fog rolls in. There's an additional TV room as well, where you can curl up on the sofa for a movie or set up a board game on the carpet.
After you've watched the sunset from the bench atop the ocean bluff, you can leave the day's clothes in the care of the washer/dryer and take your pick of four inviting bedrooms. The primary bedroom suite is separate from the others, offering a bathroom with a deep tub overlooking the ocean and a walk-in shower.

Summary: We were in Fort Bragg/Mendocino for our son's wedding! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely ocean front home in a private, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. There was plenty of comfortable seating and space for our family. The view from the bench in the backyard is simply spectacular (such a peaceful spot)! The game room provided lots of fun!The only recommendation we have for the property manager/owners is that it would be nice to have the windows facing the ocean cleaned before guests arrived. The ocean view was one of the main reasons we chose the home so it was very disappointing to walk in and the windows were so dirty that we didn't have a clear view of the ocean. Other than that, a wonderful and memorable stay, for a very happy occasion!!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this home. It is beautiful and the location right at the ocean, overlooking the bluffs, is truly stunning. It is a spacious house that can easily sleep 12 people. My only feedback was twofold: one, that the couches and dining room table ought to be larger, as though the house can sleep 12 people, you cannot easily seat over 8 people for dinner or a movie. Second, since I rented the house through Vrbo, and the house is managed through Vacasa, we had a difficult and lengthy time getting through to the actual owner of the house when a small issue arose (the code to acquire the key to the front door was missing). Drilling down through two layers of management to get to the owner was a bit of a pain.However, at the end of the day we had a lovely time in an absolutely gorgeous property and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: the house was nice, it gets pretty warm in the afternoon inside. I wa a little disappointed with the neighborhood. My daughter went for a run and got yelled at by a neighbor who was walking down the road yelling at her saying that they could walk down the main road, but no vacation renters can walk on the road. She was only jogging up the road.

Summary: Absolutely loved this home and hope we will be back. Would not hesitate to recommend to others. Easy house for small group with room to spread. Wonderful large living space that really is so open to the back view you still feel like your not missing the ocean coast when playing games and eating inside. The games room was very comfortable and well appointed kids loved the standup arcades, foosball,and ping pong as well as the PS4. Great location with easy proximity to Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Beds and linens very comfortable. Lots of comfy blankets in the home. Soft towels. Hot tub usable with beautiful views. Plenty of kitchen gear for making large meals. There were lots of board games though we had brought our own. The garage had lots of beach chairs which I'd worried about not packing. I also was concerned about having Frisbees for the frisbee gold course but the house had lots. Beautiful front yard away from the cliff for hanging out, deer seen regularly in the front yard. Large eucalyptus trees the boys enjoyed playing in. Rule to not walk down private road but lots of room on property for exploring and enjoying. Was sorry to leave and will definitely book a longer stay next time.
