THE DEVELOPMENT and THE APARTMENT COMPLEX: Real Diamante
Our complex is located in the high-end Punta Diamante development. The development features 3 layers of 24 hour private security. Entry from the road is strictly controlled, and security personnel are on duty 24 hours within the complex itself. All on-site staff are thoroughly vetted, background-checked, and searched at entry and exit. This is a family oriented development, and on a day-to-day basis the biggest security concern is the raccoons that sometimes visit from the neighboring forested area!
Our apartment is within an exclusive, family-oriented complex with only 25 units, distributed throughout five low-rise buildings.
The complex's amenities: The common area (one floor down from the Apartment, stair accessible) includes
3 pools – 2 infinity pools, and a round pool with seating areas that make it a favorite
with children.
Other facilities on this pool level include:
Fully equipped gym – free weights, machines, treadmills with beach views!
Full Service bar with lockers
Showers and changing areas
A game area with Ping pong and foosball, overlooking the pool
Ice machine
The complex has direct private access (stairs) to a gorgeous white sand beach, that stretches for many miles. This beach is home to a number of high-end hotels and developments as well as small local restaurants, great for fresh seafood or a cold drink.
THE APARTMENT:
It is suitable for up to 9 guests. It includes:
4 bedrooms, each with ensuite bath:
1. Master bedroom with private balcony overlooking the ocean; master bathroom with double vanity marble sinks, jacuzzi tub, large walk-in shower, closet space. King size bed. (sleeps 2)
2. Second Master bedroom with direct access to the main terrace; master bathroom with marble sink, walk-in shower, closet space. (sleeps 2)
3. Bedroom with 2 side-by-side single size beds, ensuite bathroom with marble sink, walk-in shower and closet space. (sleeps 2)
4. Bedroom with 2 side-by-side double beds, small private balcony with view overlooking garden, pool, and ocean. Ensuite bathroom with double vanity marble sinks, walk-in shower, closet space. An additional double bed can be arranged upon request. (sleeps 2 or 3)
A fully appointed kitchen; the cooking area is large, bright, and modern with all appliances (including coffee maker, toaster, juicer, and blender), cooking equipment, and full service for you and your group.
An ample dining room and living room area, with direct access to the main terrace. It is furnished, as the rest of the apartment, tastefully but simply, so that guests can be comfortable and unconcerned by the furniture.
A huge terrace overlooking the sea and the Revolcadero beach, with an in-built Jacuzzi pool (not heated). The view is spectacular, and the scene is constantly changing. It offers unimpeded panoramic views of both sunrise (inland) and sunset (into the ocean). We include a pair of binoculars for guests’ use – there is always something new to see. This part of the Pacific Ocean is home to many different sea and shore birds, as well as dolphins and a wide variety of fish. During their nesting season sea turtles come to lay their eggs on the beach.
The apartment features rustic stone floor that stays cool and discreet recessed lighting throughout. There is always a gentle breeze from the ocean to keep the living and sleeping areas cool, and each room is fitted with a silent overhead fan; the Apartment does not have air conditioning.

Summary: I brought my college children here during their winter break, and to have solid family time. It was perfect location, accommodations, and of course, excellent weather! I was glad my son spoke some Spanish as many people speak limited English. The owner, Ana, was very generous with her time to assist us with details and coordination. Summary: We had a great time at Ana and Curtis’ property The apartment was perfect for our Christmas vacation with our family -6 adults and 3 kids The property is located in one of the most luxury and secure areas of Acapulco called Acapulco Diamante.The location is great with an amazing view of Revolcadero beach. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises every day! The apartment itself is very enjoyable with a plunge pool in the terrace and the minimalistic decoration gives you the sense of space and openness The owner (Ana) was extremely nice and accommodating to all our questions and requests. Before and during our trip we were in constant communication and she was prompt to respond. She was very understanding of our concerns about safety around COVID 19 and she made us feel comfortable with all the measures taken. THANK YOU ANA The complex is very well maintain, the staff very helpful and following the security and health measures The 3 pools one floor below were amazing the kids and my parents had so much fun and also the private access to the beach was a plus It’s is to note that as referenced in the description of the property the apartment doesn’t have AC so be prepared to Acapulco’s year round temperature (70-90F) I definitely recommend this property Thank you Ana and Curtis we had a great time

Summary: We stayed over Thanksgiving week to have a family gathering. This place was way above our expectation. The condo is very roomy for all of our families and has a beautiful view over Revolcadero beach (gorgeous sunrise every day!), beautiful pools, beach accesss, and fast internet is available (HDMI available to connect Apple TV). The security by Punta Diamante and condo itself is very high, so it is very safe. The most we appreciated was the house keeper Emma and her helper Juana. They are very helpful and must for our stay (delicious meals, hiring taxi, ordering groceries from store,...etc). Before our arrival detailed instructions were provided by owner, so we all had very comfortable stay throughout. If we are coming back to Acapulco, we will definitely check this place first. Summary: The place is extraordinary. The views, unsurpassable. The service, amazing. Public areas are superbly kept and everyone who works at the condo is extremely nice. Emma, in charge of housekeeping at the apartment, is fantastic and will do everything within her means to make you feel at home. The fact that my teens were able to walk down to the beach (a very nice beach) and I was able to stay at the apartment and watch them from there was also a big plus. We have been renting properties for ten years, and will continue to do so. Only downside was the fact that heat and humidity went to extremes, so not having air conditioning played a bigger role than we expected it to. I purchased three electric fans which the owner reimbursed, so that was nice and made our stay more comfortable. Also, we are runners, and since running in Acapulco is really only bearable very early in the morning, the gym was the other option during the rest of the day. The problem there is that both treadmills are in dire need of maintenance work, so that is something we would love to see improve if we were to go back. But, again, it is a highly recommended place.

Summary: Calling all Canadians - you gotta stay here! I don't even know where to start with this review everything was so amazing - from the apartment to Ana and Curtis (the owners), Emma (the housekeeper), Gerry (our driver) to all the amazing places we went to. First the apartment - it is beautiful, well maintained and has every amenity you would need. It was nice to have our own kitchen to grab a bite to eat when we wanted to. Every morning we would wake up and sit on the huge balcony and watch the sunrise and the ocean with all the fishermen bringing in their morning catch. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms all have so much room and really nice showers. The plunge pool/Jacuzzi on the balcony was amazingly refreshing to dip in when it got hot in the afternoon. We purchased a grill and left it there for others to use, we sure liked to BBQ up some nice Rib Eye steaks we bought from the Walmart which is very close to the apartment. You go through 3 security points to get into the complex, so we felt safe and secure! The 3 pools one floor down were refreshing and so clean it was nice to relax overlooking the ocean from the infinity pools. Anna and Curtis were so accommodating to all of our questions and made sure everything was in order for our arrival. They were very easy to deal with and provided us with great information and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Emma, who was there during our stay cleaned, cooked and even ordered our groceries from Walmart for us. She is a total gem, she does not speak English, but we both had Google Translator apps so it was easy to communicate with her. She is a wonderful cook (makes the best chicken quesadillas, guacamole and pico de gallo we have ever eaten. Don't forget to ask her to make her homemade lemonade - so refreshing on a hot day. Each morning she would walk in with a smile and bring us a fresh fruit tray for breakfast. She is such a beautiful lady and so professional and attentive, we want to bring her back to Canada with us! We used Gerry Lopez - Diamante cab driver he is awesome and I highly recommend him if you are staying at this apartment. He took us shopping, to Acapulco Centro, fishing, Flamingo, Cliff divers, grocery shopping, to restaurants and even to the airport on our last day. He speaks great English, was professional and was very attentive to our needs and safety in Acapulco. Go to Acapulco, I don't know why more tourists don't go here it is safe & fun! Summary: We truly loved our time at this place. The view is gorgeous because the apartment faces the whole bay with easy access to the beach. The pools are nice and big, sufficiently long to use as lap pools for exercise. All rooms are very spacious and well illuminated with their own bathrooms and showers. The building is very well located close to everything. We highly recommend this apartment for either big families or small groups.

Summary: The apartment far exceeded our expectations! It looks beautiful in the photos, but just wait until you see it in person!! Photos can't capture the powerful, multi-sensory experience that staying here holds. The sound of the ocean, the smell of Emma's amazing cooking, the stars up overhead while you are in the plunge pool at night. It's beyond breathtaking and puts you in such a state of gratitude for having the opportunity to stay at a place like this. Trust me, you will not regret your decision to stay! The fitness center is top notch too and the apartment is so huge and energetically spacious, you can't help by evolve as a person by staying here. Thank you to Emma, the housekeeper/cook, for taking such great care of us! One day, we forgot our key to the apartment and we had no idea. When we arrived back, in the evening, the security had it in an envelope for us! Emma had brought it to him for us, when she noticed that we had forgot it, so we could get back in. We were so grateful! It was a combination of the little things that put this place over the top. We can not wait to come back to Acapulco, and because of the perfection of our time here, I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Summary: What an amazing place! The apartment is very large with 4 amazing bedrooms each with a really well designed and spacious bathroom. There was more than enough space for the 4 adults and 3 children in our party. The views from the balcony were great during the day and the night. We got up each morning to watch the amazing sun rise, had breakfast and enjoyed one of the 3 pools in the complex. Most of the time we had 1 or even 2 pools all to ourselves. Emma, who is a really good and attentive cook, made lunch for us every day. The kids loved her cooking and so did we! In the afternoon we took the flight of stairs down to the beach. The water was amazing warm, even in December! Paradise for us traveling from London and New York! The kids loved the beach, and it was a struggle to get them back when it go dark. We got back to the flat to find dinner ready--Emma's magic. She does fish particularly well! At night, the kids enjoyed a bit of amateur astronomy from the terrace...while we chatted to the sounds of the waves below. Amazing holiday from an amazing apartment with amazing Mexican delicacies prepared by Emma! We also enjoyed some lunches and drinks at Sukha & Sal, an exclusive club nearby. The food was really good--better than what we had in Mexico City. So would recommend lunch or dinner @ Sukha & Sal on one of the days you are there. There was a stupendous wedding @ Sukha & Sal that we got to witness...with a live orchestra providing the music for a beach wedding! On the beach below this property, you will find some local fisherman. We saw them catch some fish--next time we will buy the fish for dinner. We should have done it but didn't get to on our trip. The property has good WiFi--so the Spotify playlists came in very handy. Mexican coffee is very good--so we used the coffee machine in the property a lot during our trip. I hadn't planned to drink so much coffee on holiday, but the coffee was too good not to drink. Finally, the complex has a gym. We used it a few times only because we did a lot of swimming. But next time, we plan to use the gym more. So all in all, a magical holiday that the kids and adults will remember and talk about for a long time. We can't wait to go back!
