Summary: This property was really pretty and the staff were all so nice and most spoke well in English. The pools were beautiful with the mountain as a backdrop and we spent lots of time in the game room playing pool and ping pong. Everything looks new and tastefully designed with some new amenities coming soon (I think someone said tennis courts?) but the work was being done with hand tools and never intruded on the peacefulness of our quiet vacation. The private beach was so quiet with chairs and umbrellas and cold beers available. It is about a 2 min golf cart ride to the beach but someone is always ready to bring you there with a smile and recommend one of the amazing beachfront restaurants (we were treated like royalty!) On Saturday night they played fun, upbeat music by the pool. It’s the best time to visit the rooftop pool if you are prone to burning in the daytime. Thanks to all for making our getaway so enjoyable!!

Summary: I ended up staying a total of 8 days with a total of 3 separate bookings. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I visit the Dominican Republic.

Summary: This place is a GEM ! The staff is helpful n- the price is great. The view is gorgeous !!! The room is clean & the breakfast was delicious The surrounding area is very safe and natural feeling - This is the perfect oasis away from the city but still safe I had a great time and will stay at least once every time I visit

Summary: The hotel is relatively new and beautiful. There were a few hiccups that were problematic our first room the air conditioner didn't work and then bumped us into a junior suite which was an upgrade from we originally had but then there's no water pressure and no hot water the first night. They finally managed to figure out how to get us hot water but it was intermittent and would come in and out during the time there. The mattress was hard as a rock and definitely needs a mattress topper. But otherwise the hotel was very beautiful the stay was wonderful the restaurant was great The staff was very accommodating and helpful I just wish they had a better mattress or a mattress topper.

Summary: New building attractively designed & decorated with open, airy layout. Our room was large & clean, and all of the staff were extremely helpful. The internet went in & out, but the AC worked well. We also liked that there were scooters & bikes available for rent.

Summary: Ocean Winds Hotel was so good that I ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were great and the room was very clean. I am not a breakfast person normally, but the breakfast was also great, even for a picky eater like me. I would definitely stay again.

Summary: One of the best hotels in Puerto Plata. Junior Gomez was a great host, rooms were clean with a great view of the mountains. Will definitely book again.
