ANGLERS REEF is a quiet oceanfront community of Key West inspired homes, streets, and walking paths, that wind through a quaint village-style retreat. Located at Mile Marker 85 by Theater of the Sea, Windley Key Geographical Site, Snake Creek Marina & some of the best bars and restaurants in Islamorada.
GREAT LOCATION
The house is in a quiet section of the community, away from the highway and just 2 homes from the ocean. Our porches are shaded and face a tree-lined yard with a view of the ocean.
OCEANFRONT RESORT-STYLE SWIMMING POOL
The pool is both heated & chilled so that it is always a perfect 87 degrees.
TWO PRIVATE SANDY BEACHES
The South Beach has a shoreline & ocean access. A tandem kayak sits on the beach for your use, (additional kayak, paddleboards, jet ski & boat rentals are available close by and available for drop-off to your beach or dock).
The North Beach, a white sandy beach, is located just steps from the house.
DEEP WATER MARINA
Our boat slip, with direct ocean access, is available for rent and is also just steps away from the house. But whether or not you use our slip, the marina is part of the community and enjoyed by all guests.
OUR HOUSE
Built in 2007, this home, is bright and cheery with tile floors, high ceilings, and many large windows. It is newly decorated for the Keys and surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.
The main floor has an open plan with, tile floors, granite counters, stainless appliances, flat screen TV w/DVD players, cable with ALL PREMIUM CHANNELS, A DVR, Fast WiFi & a SONOS wireless speaker system.
There are 2 bedroom suites with flat screen TV’s and private baths located on the 2nd floor. Both baths have frameless glass showers and granite vanities. Rear bedroom has an ocean view and a private porch.
ISLAMORADA
Parks in Islamorada, Village of Islands: Just 2 miles north is Islamorada Founders Park at MM 87 Bayside, which offers activity or relaxation for the whole family. An Olympic-sized pool with diving area, a shallow water beach, water sports rentals, ball fields, fishing jetty, bocce, tennis and basketball courts, vita course with 18 exercise stations, multi-purpose path, skate park and dog park all are within the 40-acre park. Fees may apply. Village municipal parks also include the Islamorada Library Beach and Anne’s Beach. There is the Windley Key State Geological Site, a state park, at the site of a former coral rock quarry. In addition to shady walks through unique foliage, fossils of sea creatures can be seen throughout the park. A free guidebook is available at the visitors center for use during your stay in the park. Islamorada also offers an 18-mile bicycle path that extends the length of the Village.
Scuba/Snorkel!: Islamorada, long recognized as the 'Sport Fishing Capital of the World,' is now an icon among sport divers for a similar reason: a massive population of tropical marine life. High-profile coral heads and broad ledges shelter huge congregates of French grunt and goat fish, while regal queen angelfish casually graze amid the reef recesses. Friendly green moray eels swim freely along the spur-and-groove channels, and reclusive nurse sharks lurk beneath the overhangs. Islamorada offers a wide variety of shallow coral reefs, mini walls, shipwrecks, and even an underwater habitat for scientific research, the Aquarius. Summary: We just got back from Islamorada and cannot stop talking about our trip. This property was clean and comfortable and the private development had everything we wanted. Everyone was very nice. I will definitely rent again if/when we return.

Summary: This home had all the amenities you could expect and them some. It has 2 comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathrooms. It has relaxing balconies on the first and second levels and along with an open floorplan with the kitchen and living area. The kitchen has all the appliances (Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker) and kitchenware you will need. The owner was super responsive to any questions and willing to help with any planning activity if asked.The community has an awesome pool, Kayaks available at no charge and a great marina if you have or rent a boat.

Summary: This is a very nice property in the private Angler’s Reef development on Islamorada. Great location in the Keys. We loved the pool and access to the beach and water. We had a great time at the property and as a base of operations to explore the Keys. Can’t say enough about the landlord, Craig. He provided great information on what to do and see. He was responsive our entire stay. We would absolutely rent this property again on a return trip to the Keys.

Summary: The accommodations were more than we had ever anticipated! It is a beautiful home with everything you would ever need for a weeks stay or even more. If I had to speak on anything negative, it would’ve been the construction that was going on route 1 all night with machinery And hog heaven, which is an all night bar that closes at 4 AM. Sometimes the music was very very loud. & resonated to the condo. We really and truly enjoyed our stay in spite of those two inconveniences. The home is absolutely appointed so beautifully and we needed nothing! The balconies on both floor offered opportunities for us to have early morning coffee and listen to the wildlife and birds that were abundant. There is a boat slip at our disposal and we would most definitely think about using that. should we stay in the future as it is extremely convenient to the unit. in addition, the hosts were more than accommodating with suggestions on things to do places to eat. They were always available should we have needed anything or questions.We would go back there definitely.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the 2 beaches and pool are so nice and the view is amazing! The location is excellent also for dining and easy ride to the rest of the keys. A great place we hope to return to!

Summary: We had an amazing time all week long here at Anglers Reef. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is in a perfect location and has all the essentials. My kids loved all of the puzzles/games/toys that are provided! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Summary: This property is AMAZING! Communication with owner was fantastic. He provided quick responses to questions and was a wonderful resource for local restaurants and activities in the area. The house and neighborhood were beyond perfect, with the house conveniently located near so many great local restaurants that were within a safe walking distance (so you can leave the car at home and enjoy the delicious local cuisine and fun happy hours). The house was very well stocked (especially the kitchen), incredibly clean, with plenty of towels and pool/beach supplies provided. The ocean views from the porch were incredible. We absolutely loved the oceanfront heated community pool, which was heated to the perfect temperature and had picture perfect ocean views. There was plenty of seating and umbrellas at the pool, and the pool bathrooms were kept incredibly clean throughout our stay. The neighbors in the community were friendly, the neighborhood was peaceful, and the location provided the perfect backdrop for our family trip. We also loved the updated bathrooms and tech in the house, with premium cable and WiFi (signal was strong and consistent). The beds were extremely comfortable, which is important. Even the sofa and dining room table chairs were comfortable for family gatherings. With many rental choices in the area, this was our favorite rental house and location in the Keys by far. We definitely plan to rent here again for our next trip to the Keys.
