Positive: The sunsets from the apartment were incredible!!! The hosts were really welcoming, friendly, laid back and made us feel right at home. They encouraged us to use their pool and were always lovely to talk to when we bumped into each other. The apartment itself is compact but has everything you'll need - well equipped and comfy. Able to walk/run to the beach along the coastal path - which was gorgeous. Shopping precinct within 5 min drive, food shop, bakery, butchers and coffee shop. Perfect accomodation - thanks Chris & Vee xx

Positive: This listing is a freestanding private studio within a house. The windows face the Indian Ocean and the sunset views are gorgeous. The studio has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and couch and TV, a large comfortable bed with two nightstands, a bathroom with shower and window, and a private outside seating area where you can eat. There's a pool, too! And, best of all for long stays, a washing machine, and a clothes line in the back (your clothes will dry fast in the Perth sun). The decor was tasteful and sturdy -- perfect for a beach stay. It was easy to heat and cool the unit. I picked this place for the beach views and the quiet and both exceeded my expectations. I'm very noise sensitive and I slept soundly every night. You can walk about eight minutes north and be at a lovely beach, and there's an incredible 40-minute walk from the house along the coast to Burns Beach -- great for a run, too. If you head south you can follow other coastal beach walks to Hillary's. Beyond that I'd suggest getting a car service (not expensive) or taking the bus. You're within an easy car ride or bus / tram ride to Fremantle and Perth, and there's also easy access to Rottnest Island. I didn't have my own car and found it very easy to get around. Finally, Chris and Vee were great hosts. When Vee gave me my keys she said, "Anything you need, ask" and that was definitely the vibe. They gave me my privacy but if I had a question they texted me back immediately. The place was lovely.
