This is a fully furnished, clean and well maintained 3BR single storey house, on a quiet and private corner block at Sandy Point. It is only ten minutes walk to the shops and the magnificent main surf beach, which is great for walking, sun bathing, fishing, surfing and views of Wilson's Promontory. It is also at the start of the 45 minute return walking/cycling track to Shallow Inlet or only a 2km drive onto the Inlet beach, for many recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, sail boarding or kite surfing. Day trips can be made to surrounding attractions, such as Walkerville, Waratah Bay, the Leongatha - Welshpool Rail Trail and Wilson's Promontory. For a lazy day, it is a short drive to the Waratah Hills Winery, Gurney’s Cidery, or the well renowned Meeniyan cafes and bakery.
The house features a large, open plan living area which is north facing, with plenty of windows and lots of natural light. Sliding doors open onto a spacious outdoor deck. It is peaceful and quiet and great for total relaxation!
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and coffee machine. You can enjoy a meal outdoors, undercover, with the large bbq and an 8 seater table. There is a large reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area and a Coonarra wood fire for a cosy night in. There is a smart tv with free access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The house has internet access via NBN.
There are 3 bedrooms, with the main bedroom having a queen size bed, the second bedroom a double bed and the third one a double/single bunk bed.
The toilet is separate to the bathroom.
After a swim or surf enjoy a hot/cold outdoor shower on the deck.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and felt as though we were going to a family beach house. All the amenities in the home were comfortable and functional and suited all of us (4 adults /3 kids). The bunk beds were especially a hoot for the kids! We can't recommend staying here highly enough. Thank you to the hosts for having us!

Summary: We had a great time at the house. It is very spacious and has all the conveniences of home, including very reliable nbn for a partly working holiday. Summary: Nice base for days trips to prom. House is also handy to beach and has plenty of space so is very nice to spend time there. Kitchen could be cleaned up a bit and note there’s limited hot water.
