Summary: We booked last minute during July which had lots of seaweed but we spent most of our time in the pool so we were fine. I’m positive they keep the beach very clean once seaweed season is over. The hotel could use a little updating but honestly I would book again. The food at all restaurants was very good and drinks were good. The pool activities were lots of fun. My room was very comfortable and clean and perfectly located to restaurants and pool (bldg 18) I have no complaints

Summary: Huge shout out to Kenddell on the entertainment team, Gabi at the front desk, Gabi serving at the buffet, Francisco bartending and serving and Eber at the pool bar. Had a great time all made possible by these great employees!

Summary: Resort is nice and quite. Just didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t go to the beach, due to seaweed….rating online is miss leading. Staff was nice, but there is just so much they can do. Other beaches were in much better shape.

Summary: The staff was excellent very nice and friendly. Activities at night were fun and the went above and beyond. The beach was not usable since there was seaweed everywhere and this was not advised on the website. Could not go to beach or in the ocean. Unless you were privlege status it was practically impossible to make a reservation for the restaurants especially Hibachi. They advertise having plenty of restaurants included in the all inclusive deal and this is not the case as they are all booked up by privelege guests.

Summary: I’d like to say for someone that came to Cancún for the first time. It was a wonderful experience. Staff was incredibly welcoming and very respectful. Definitely recommend coming by as a first time would recommend avoiding going through seaweed season as in May. It is one of the strongest times, but definitely will want to come back once to seaweed clear back.

Summary: My husband and I came to Ocean Maya Royale for our babymoon and to celebrate our anniversary. We appreciated that the resort was quiet and we could relax. There were so many yummy non-alcoholic drink options for me. While the food portions at the Mexican and Italian restaurants were a little small, they were delicious; my favorite was the buffet and they had themed food every night. We enjoyed all the entertainment offered throughout the day. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. Our room and the beach were very clean and well maintained. Finally, we were easily able to order a safe a reliable cab to and from Playa Del Carmen. We would definitely stay here again!
