Positive: What we liked the most about this oceanfront house was the beautiful ocean view and we felt safe which was are top priority when we booked. It's gated with security at all times and you have to show proper documentation for entry. The pool area was great and always kept clean. The owners were kind, very responsive and communication was very easy. When we had any issues they resolved it fairly quick.
Negative: Unfortunately, what we did not like about our week stay was the cleanliness by the main staff Wendy. When we arrived we noticed the rooms were not very clean. I also did not think it was ok for her to ask my wife and family to take out our room trash. After 4 days of our stay my wife finally asked Wendy if she could clean the bathrooms because they were very dirty which she replied " if you want me to" which was never done until I reached out to the owner. She only cleaned the rooms that day and the day after nothing more. There were wet dirty towels sitting out for days. My family and I had to do most of the cleaning during our stay. We did not expect spotless cleaning but at the very least she could have cleaned the rooms once every other day and change the sheets one time during that week. My wife kept saying we are supposed to be on vacation and here I am cleaning. I will say she was very informative on restaurants and nearby attractions.
