Overlooking Caspar Anchorage and the Mighty Pacific Ocean, just minutes north of the charming and historic town of Mendocino, sits a 4 Bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3400 SF home, we affectionately call Sea Ghost. And what a perfect location as well, for the Russian Gulch State Park and Point Cabrillo Lighthouse State Park are within easy walking distance and yet there is more, so much more!
Our home is just a few feet from the edge above a protected cove where recreation and peace, the surf and the wind make there subtle movements into your soul. Whether watching migrating whales, frolicking porpoise, seals floating on the water below, or pelicans in formation gliding inches above the water, Sea Ghost is a place to make memories for years to come. And the Osprey can seriously fish too!
Our home is spacious, comfortable and complete with loads of windows throughout, providing breath-taking views and ample natural light to entertain and relax by. We have a family room with a pool table, and large flat-screen TV, complete with Wi-Fi internet, Cable, DVD & streaming movies and TV shows. Additionally there is a separate living and dining room, 2 gas fireplaces for atmosphere and ambiance, an outdoor spa and an awesome “cook’s” kitchen, waiting for your lattes in the morning or wine pours in the late afternoon … yes, perhaps even a sumptuous gourmet meal, all with a view to come back to year after year!
Our home is Pet free, smoke free and thoroughly cleaned between guest stays. We offer discounts for longer stays, with early check-in and late check-out OK dependent upon guest scheduling.

Summary: Sea Ghost is a vacation paradise! The house and amenities are top notch. Views from most every room in the house are breathtaking. The house is immaculate and stocked with an amazing array of cookware, basic needs in the pantry in case you forgot some (like we did), and is located perfectly between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. We mountain biked from the house to the lighthouse and there are many more activities reachable by bike. Just across the main highway is some excellent mountain biking and hiking. Kayaking is very close, (there are two at the house if you are up for transporting them). The neighborhood is secluded, safe and quiet. Can't say enough good things about our experience. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Summary: We spent several days at Sea Ghost and it is AMAZING!!!Such a beautiful house in a spectacular spot. Did a daily short walk down to the rocks below to watch the seals and their babies. Wonderful house to spread out in and do some incredible hikes with our family.

Summary: Beautiful quiet location in our favorite neighborhood. Easy to check in. Great kitchen and dining areas. Plenty of tables for games, meals, etc. it was fun to have a pool table. The house had gas stoves which made it cozy as well as central heating which worked well.

Summary: This well maintained home is perched on the edge of a bay with great views of the ocean beyond. The spacious kitchen and large dining room accommodated our family very easily. We enjoyed the amenities offered such as the hot tub, pool table and a spacious yard. Located equidistant between Ft Bragg and Mendocino it provides easy access to the many activities of the area.

Summary: This was our third year staying at the sea ghost and as usual we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed making it our home for five days and four nights. Summary: It was a lovely home, very spacious and comfortable for 8 people. We all enjoyed our stay. The house never felt crowded, and the view was wonderful. We did think that for the price, approximately $200/bedroom/night, that there should have been adequate toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. We ran out of all three. Maybe you should warn your clients to bring there own!!
