Positive: Great breakfast and clean hotel

Negative: Road noise for our room, paying a considerable extra to use the SPA, Being ignored by restaurant staff when trying to enquire about dinner.

Summary: Okay, nice enough hotel but ruined by some staff actions.

Positive: Hotel was in a great location and staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were spacious and always very clean, along with a nice outdoor pool and bar area. The breakfast buffet each morning was lovely with a great range of options

Negative: The walls are paper thin so any door closing/conversation in the hallway/noise can be heard very easily! The outdoor pool is spacious but not enough loungers for the capacity (25 max) so most days were spent on the floor. Also, not being able to bring food or alcohol from the hotel to the pool meant you couldn’t stay for long without losing your lounger or spot The lunch and dinner options are scarce and both meals had there weren’t very nice or good value for money. There are better options close to the hotel for a quarter of the price and better quality

Negative: It was expensive for what you got. Everything had an additional cost…parking…breakfast….gym….indoor pool…and the only thing without an additional cost (the outdoor pool) was closed due to rain.

Positive: Very convenient when arriving from Santander airport and then accessible to motorways to move on. Nice to walk into Bilbao and close enough to do that easily. Very clean and comfortable with a lovely swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and plenty of places to sit with a drink or coffee.

Positive: Good quality hotel with parking. Rooms were nice and staff friendly.

Negative: Just be aware that most of the facilities shown on the pictures are part of a healthclub and you would have to pay to use them.
