Positive: It’s in a great location. Lovely conservation area. 10 min walk to the railway station.

Negative: If you’re driving a car, you have to pay for parking and can’t stay for more than 4 hours - 8am to 6.15pm ( free in between those hours) so can be challenging if you’re at home during the day.

Negative: Parking can be a bit tricky if it’s busy but we did always get a space somewhere on the street.

Negative: Need to plan your day activities carefully due to the Council parking charges which operate from 08:00 to 18:15 with a limit of 4 hours per stay at a cost of GBP5.00. Note there is a facility to get a free 1 hour ticket (to start the day 08:00 to 09:00). Return to parking places is not allowed within 1 hour. Only 3 of the 5 gas burners on the cooktop could be used. The other two lit but would not remain on. Council plans to refurbish the city centre means a large number of shops are close, and museum under refurbishment

Positive: The location was wonderful- beautiful building , very easy to access the town centre and close to many family and friends who were all gathering in Paisley for a family wedding that weekend.

Negative: bed was a very soft one- fine for me but my husband found it a little soft. Also very creaky although the brass bedstead was beautiful in the room!
