Summary: Delightful, clean, beautifully upgraded and decorated 1890s cottage. Perfect for 2 people. Lovely setting. Far enough away to be really private, but close enough to beaches and magnificent scenery. Perfectly equipped with all mod cons. Very highly recommended.

Summary: This little timber cottage was a charming home away from home on Nth Bruny Island. It is well equipped with good gas cooktop and electric oven, great washing machine and plenty of kitchenware. The small living room is a cosy spot with a nice view to the hill behind. The evening sunset skies were gorgeous. The cottage is situated in the middle of a farm paddock with a welcoming flock of sheep checking you out as you arrive. It was our first trip to Bruny Island and the gravel road was a bit off putting until we realised that, other than the main road from the ferry, most roads on Bruny are gravel so we adapted quickly! While here we did the Fluted Cape walk (spectacular), the Bruny Island Cruise (unforgettable) the Cape Queen Elizabeth walk (scenic) had a delicious meal at Bruny Island Premium Wines (recommended), ate fabulous oysters from Get Shucked and delicious cheese from Bruny Island Cheese, we also visited the lighthouse in the south and Dennes Point in the north, both well worth the drive. So, plenty to do here! Happy to recommend this stay
