3 Bedroom House in Stewart

Our Oakview property is completely ALONE, no neighbors and no traffic! It has a large "open concept" kitchen area that leads into the great room, then the screened in porch is accessed through the great room. The master suite is on one side with a king size bed, complete with full bath, his and her sinks, soaking tub and separate shower. Two more bedrooms, 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed, are on the other side of the house. These two bedrooms share a full size bath with tub/shower setup. Oakview is all about being in the woods, viewing tons of wildlife, hiking, and also enjoying the water, but also about just relaxing, enjoying the fire pit at night and enjoying the rare opportunity to get away from the city and be completely by yourselves. Oakview has water views and 100% water access. We own 400 plus acres around Oakview and you are free to go wherever you wish. We have 2 shale beaches that are located on Ky. Lake/Tn. River where you can fish and swim, have a picnic lunch and just enjoy the day. You can walk to Ky. Lake/Tn. River, but since our area is quite hilly, we highly recommend using a 4x4 vehicle or atv to access Ky. Lake/Tn. River.
We have 2 pontoon boats that we have for rent and we also have 5 Kawasaki "mules" 4x4 utv's that we also have for rent. Or, you are more than welcome to bring your own boat and atv's. Oakview has plenty of parking for cars, boats, atv's and their trailers. If you wish, you can dock your boat at our privately owned boat dock, which does have electricity and is complete with concrete ramp to launch your boat.
3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY
There is a nice fire pit with split firewood and we supply fire starter "cubes" and a gas grill with propane.
We allow pets. VRBO charges for 1 pet, after 1 pet we charge $25 per pet/per night and we handle those charges.
We don a fresh mask and gloves after each party checks out. We have been using the Victory Innovations c9 sprayer, which sprays the entire inside and outside of Oakview with a odorless, tasteless, mist that kills 99.99% of bacteria. This system is currently being used on all commercial U.S. airlines when airplane customers un board/board. It is a fantastic sanitizing system that we stand behind 100%.

Summary: The property was perfect. The rental of the pontoon boat and the mule was very easy. If you are looking for a remote quiet place to vacation at this place is perfect. Andrea was so great and not only welcoming to her human guests but was equally welcoming to both of my dogs as well. The creek and shale beach was super cool. We had a blast taking the mule around the backroads and trails. The remote location of the property was perfect for my dogs to just roam around and just be dogs. I highly recommend and expect we will return next summer for another stay.

Summary: It was such a great property. Our group had an absolute blast. Andrea was hilarious, kind, and accommodating. The place was very clean, stocked with everything you need, and a lot of good memories were made hanging out around the fire pit. Also has quick access to waster for some great fishing!

Summary: Everything about the property was as promised. It was very clean and well cared for and it was very remote which was what we wanted. We took full advantage of the mules and boat and had a wonderful "woods and lake" week. Andrea and George are A++ hosts. They treat you like family but also give you your space to enjoy. If you like being in the woods but also having all of the comforts of home, this is the place for you.

Summary: Andrea-the host is just incredibly kind, helpful but never intrusive. Always cares about her guests and their comfort. If you love the country, the lake, UTV riding in a very remote heavily wooded foothills covered with wildlife and sitting in an elevated screened in patio while listening to the whisper wills and owls at night then this is the spot! You are surrounded by deep woods. Extreme clean! 6-Stars! Just awesome

Summary: Wonderful, helpful and super responsive hosts! Clean, fully equipped cabin with plenty of privacy and stuff to do outside. We rented the mule to get around and had a nice time exploring and just sitting on the porch enjoying the scenery. Everything was great 😊

Summary: Andrea was great and was very accommodating to me and my family. Of the 3 properties she has, we stayed in the Oakview house which is set back in the woods for a nice quiet stay. We rented the kawasaki mules from her and were able to hit the trails around the area and they handled every trail we decided to go down and the kids enjoyed every minute of it! Not far from the house was the lake and the pontoons she rents out. A day on the lake was needed and we enjoyed a beautiful day on the pontoon while pulling the kids on a tube behind us. We stopped at fat daddies up the lake a bit and enjoyed live music and cornhole on the water. The sun was great and the water was warm even before June was here. Thanks for the good time. The oakview house had everything you need and was very clean and accommodating. I have already recommended friends of having a good place to stay in the area and will return for future trips
