Negative: Being told by the owner all of the time to shut my door so my dog (14 years old) wouldn’t get out and bother her three hyperactive collie dogs when she took them out. In addition the outside bin had a sign saying no dog waste so we had to walk down the street and put our bagged up dog waste in a street bin. Being emailed just prior to going what time we would be arriving. We said 13:00-14:00 only to receive a response to say that the check in was 16:00. We arrived therefore exactly on time to be met by a very irate host waiting at the gate and to be told that I needed to check my voicemails and that I was ‘lucky’ that she was there otherwise we wouldn’t have got in. The owner had horses, my partner had horses. She asked if she could see them. She was told no. The small print on the T&C’s said that any damages would be recouped because the owner had our card details…imagine my horror when the toilet push button flush broke on our second morning there. Later the next day the owner said that the plumber had said that ‘someone’ had been in the cistern implying that we had. No, the accommodation was more than adequate but the lady who owns it spoiled it from the moment we arrived. We even went home one day early.
Summary: Accommodation was very nice spoiled by an overbearing host.

Positive: Very clean, lovely shower overall very pleasant property.
Negative: Only a minor problem but the bedroom curtains let in the sun early as sunrise was around 5am when we were there.

Positive: you can park right outside the property in your own space, keys were easy to obtain from a coded box outside, the place was spotless and the owner was absolutely lovely, full of useful advise. We had beautiful fresh laid eggs as a welcome along with a good choice of tea , coffee, and biscuits. If your visiting this area and like to cater for yourselves you would be hard pushed to beat this Home as it has eveything you need to be comfy..
Negative: I wouldn't change anything, which means they are doing it right..
