Summary: We had a tremendous 2 weeks at Oak Mead and intend to return again next year. Our room was very comfortable with a private balcony overlooking fields and Menna was the perfect hostess; ensuring we had everything we needed. Thank you again Menna :)

Summary: Super friendly welcome by the hosts. The room was large and comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses. The pub in the village was about a 5 minute drive away and was fantastic.

Summary: It was such a lovely place to stay, very cosy and clean.

Summary: At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. However, no one did, and our concerns quickly faded. The room itself was beautiful—bright, airy, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing.

Summary: The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Lovely location with good views, tranquil. Easy to get to various attractions. Bathroom door needs sorting as door doesn't latch and a shower tidy would be useful in the cubicle.

Summary: We stayed in the Coach House and what wonderful place to stay. The views are lovely. Watching and interacting with the four horses that are in an enclosed field right next to the apartment was lovely. The apartment is a converted coach house and has loads of character. It's open plan, airy and roomy and has everything available if you want to cook yourself, and it also has a log burner. There's some lovely pubs/ restaurants nearby, our favourite being the Dog & Pickle. Excellent WiFi too.
