Positive: This place is very clean and comfortable, on a quiet street in a beautiful part of the UK. We especially enjoyed visiting Winston Churchill’s home Chartwell, which is a short drive away. Parking at Oak End Lodge was available in the driveway, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The little apartment is upstairs over their garage. We would readily book there again.

Negative: Be aware that there is a steep climb up the stairs alongside the garage to get to the apartment. It was not a problem for us. Also, breakfast is not included, but there are enough kitchen facilities that you can prepare your own hot breakfast.

Positive: Excellent little unit and very clean (spotless), owners were very friendly and accommodating. As advertised, self catering is a kitchenette and we managed fine in cooking some simple meals. The accommodation is perfect for a few nights stay, it really deserves it's high rating on Booking.com and I highly reccommend this stay. It is a beautiful unit, with a seperate bedroom, kitchen/living and bathroom . It really was a pleasure to stay here, quality fittings throughout and even the little things like the toilet paper is not the standard cheap brand (that is usually supplied). Thankyou for a wonderfull few nights stay.
