Positive: Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Laurain is very friendly and helpful. She has a lovely menagerie of animals she looks after and seeing the alpacas every day was a real treat. The hot tub is a great addition too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and would certainly return.

Positive: A fantastic cottage. Beautiful location and so peaceful. Cottage was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you would need. Owner was so friendly and helpful too. Left us bread, milk and cake for when we arrived. Great seeing the animals every day. Hot tub and bbq a bonus. Very safe parking. Would definitely stay here again.
Negative: Absolutely nothing. Ten out of ten for everything.
Summary: A gem of a place in a beautiful location

Positive: Beautiful Rural Location, Lovely Decor, Fresh Produce, and Convenient: The house was decorated beautifully; I love the little finishing touches that made the place look and feel both accommodating and homely (it was also well kitted-out). There were banana bread muffins (very tasty!), fresh eggs, and milk for us to use - another lovely touch :) It was a stunning location, with a view over the alpacas and distant fields. My daughter enjoyed playing in the garden and we visited and fed the animals. The cottages are very local to Leeds Castle, which we were visiting for an event on one of the days, so being only a 5-minute drive away was extremely convenient and good value in comparison to staying onsite, though the distance is slightly too far to walk with a younger child. There was also a mini market, less than a 5-minute drive away, for groceries. The garden was nice with greenery and furniture to relax outside, as well as the hot tub, which was fired up - ready for our arrival.
Negative: Hot Tub Issues, Mattresses, Intermittent Privacy & Heat Management: Although the hot tub was nice to have, the host came into the garden to tell us about it shortly after our arrival, and then again, later on, to ask us to switch off the motor when we got out briefly due to the motor's burning out (which was a little intrusive and unexpected). It also had bits at the bottom which the host pointed out on her first visit, saying that it was clean, but that she couldn't get rid of them, and we noticed by the second day, the water was smelling stale and unpleasant (which we have never had before - that said, there was a chlorine floaty in there). Privacy in the garden (hot tub area) and through some of the windows was also compromised by the neighboring stables, and the hosts walking past to feed animals, given that the fences are not very high. We ended up choosing our bedroom based on the bed comfort, as although both of the double rooms looked lovely, one of the beds was very uncomfortable, and the other was ok (though still a little firm) - the comfiest double mattress was the one under the bunk but my daughter had chosen that room and we did not want to room-share. The worst thing was the heat, it was very hot in the building (it was one of the hotter days of the year) so not entirely the hosts fault, however, we have stayed at quite a few places and there is usually a fan (often one per bedroom) so we were disappointed to find out there was no provision for cooling other than opening windows, we even considered going to get our own.
Summary: Beautiful - a lovely rural stay; small improvements for comfort would be good. Would stay again!

Positive: A pleasant stay with animals close by. They were surprising quiet and we enjoyed saying hello to the alpacas and seeing the train pass by in the distance. Lots of amenities to enjoy for example eggs and milk from local producers. Beds were firm and comfy, although one squeaky. Thin duvets were given for a hot summer weather. It was a beautiful renovated buillding, loved the big shower and robes for after the hot tub. Bunk bed for children was a nice touch too.
Negative: There was noise from the main road close by all night, but this was more like white noise, so not difficult to sleep through. My rating would have been 10/10 if not for the hot tub breaking down.
Summary: A pleasant stay with animals close by and private hot tub.
