Positive: This is a 4 star hotel which is comfortable but a bit disheveled and in need of a bit of refurbishment in the rooms. The breakfast was good and with a selection of cold buffet items including sweet pastries and an industrial sized Nutella dispenser. There is plenty of on-site parking and the staff are friendly and efficient. There is a lift to the upper floors and this gave us a view to the castle in Lucera over fields. There are quite a few comments about the grubby looking carpet, which is true but at the rate we paid we could live with this as it was significantly cheaper than the UK equivalent.

Negative: The hotel room could do with a bit of a tidy up. This seems to be happening in the ground floor areas.

Positive: The hotel was easy to find although we did not realise it was in a trading area. So, not pretty. But the hotel was lovely. The staff were really friendly. The hotel was clean throughout.

Negative: The breakfast was disappointing our family was unable to eat properly as many of the drink machines were not functioning and there was no still water available with minimal options available
