Summary: Very strait forward and easy to do.

Summary: Arrived 5/10 mins before allowed check in to the house but the husband allowed us in. However his wife came out of the living room and said in a ticking off/grumpy manner, ‘you’re early,’ to which I replied politely ‘yes sorry we are and so if you need some more time to finish off, please let us know? and is it ok to go upstairs? (as rest of my family had gone up) then I added ‘your husband said it was fine,’ to which she just retorted, ‘yes, well husbands tend to, don’t they?!) The space inside and quality of overall outside/inside amenities for self-catering is I think way over priced for a family (nearly £400.00 per day). I appreciate though that is meant to house up to 8 people but we felt there was just enough ‘comfortable’ room for 5 of us. Overall Standard of accommodation was very nice but then you’d expect so for that price! - (could have done with two leg rests in the living room though). Very bad Hot water issue in morning - 5 mins in general per person of running hot water in the showers - why?! - also, boiling hot room temperature at night, even without any of the radiators on and I kept waking up on and off during the night/throwing covers and duvet off during the stay. Owners also let their dog poo all over shared access driveway/squashed in dog poo into their stone driveway from cars running over it, which you had to walk across in order to walk to the only fenced off dog field, which also had some dangerous very sharp wire in one part of it that I had to try and squash down to avoid our dog cutting herself on it. Steps going up into dog field on second day then had some cuttings of sharp rose thorn stems? (it almost seemed as if the owners were doing this deliberately as if to say they didn’t want anyone staying there?!...). No private dedicated outside space for family ball games/badminton...(was seemingly given a different impression by advert for the property). Another nightmare about the property and Shropshire in general was appalling Wi-Fi - could hardly get 1 bar of signal on my phone until had driven about 5 miles down the road. Could also do with a small outside steel dog bin, lined with a black bin liner, so I could have put our dog’s poo bags somewhere - (I was not going to put them in one of the kitchen bins before we left) The nearby pubs and restaurant bar looked incredibly dated, naff and run down. We liked the little village shop though, dated but friendly and good choice of supplies, so thumbs up!!

Summary: This is the perfect house for a family get together. Victoria and Charles are the perfect hosts, beyond helpful . The rural setting was fantastic to wake up to and all the family enjoyed walking around the Shropshire hills. The house felt like home from the minute we walked in. Well stocked and very cosy . We will hopefully be back

Summary: It is a lovely property with excellent amenities and the owners who live next door couldn’t be more helpful. The grounds that come with the property is a smallish area at the front laid with stones and a table with seating for 8. All v pretty, but there is no grass area, which took some getting used to for the dog and may not suit v small children. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely return.

Summary: Came here with a group of friends as it was just what we needed size wise. We was not expecting the property to be as stunning and nicely furnished as it was!! It felt cosy and homely yet very stylish. The house is very remote and isolated which we all loved as it was so so peaceful. The local pub the Bridges is a short walk away and does fantastic food and we reccomend a visit to Ludlow for the day! Victoria and George are the nicest hosts ever who are only an email away and typically reply pretty much instantly. Thank you for a fantastic stay and would definitely reccomend to anyone considering this house :)
