Positive: Perfect location, seconds away from the place de la Comedie & all the shops/restaurants. Good size rooms & beds, lovely decor, kitchen was well equipped. Fans in each bedroom. Owner was very helpful with travel tips. Trams & trains within easy reach. Only a 20 minute drive to carnon beach & pavalas de flots beach. Quiet apartment apart from noise from front door being closed but didn’t really disturb us. Quiet street away from the noise of the town. Overall we had a really lovely stay and would recommend this apartment for a city break to Montpellier or as a base for exploring south of France.

Negative: No air conditioning but we knew this before we booked, wasn’t expecting 39 degree heat most days though. The fans helped us to sleep at night. Noise from the front door being closed, unfortunately this couldn’t be helped as the flat is ground floor, but we got used to it & it didn’t wake us up at night. A welcome hamper would have been a nice touch & more bin bags, toilet rolls & dish washer tablets (we had to buy additional)

Negative: That only one key, we are friends not family, do it would be much more comfortable to have few keys

Positive: Location couldn’t be better. Lovely spacious bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen. Perfect for our family of four. The kids were very happy with a double bed each.

Negative: There was a heatwave at the time. There were fans provided, which helped, but there was no AC. This won’t be an issue for most of the year though. I think those temperatures were exceptional.

Positive: A quiet and renovated apartment in a historic building with all the necessary comforts of home. The location was perfect on a quiet street just blocks off the square and a short walk to transportation. A lockbox at the front door made for a flexible arrival and departure. Hosts were responsive to all communication.

Negative: The apartment appeared darker than in the photos, but the weather was overcast during our stay.

Positive: Excellent location. Steps from Le Comédie, trams, restaurants, pharmacies, shopping mall, train station. Apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated yet still comfortable. It's on a quiet side street with 2 outdoor terraces. Large kitchen adequately stocked. Bathroom is large with plenty of towels. Unlike most apartments the bedrooms are in the front of the apartment and are well lit and quite large. There is easy access to apartment just a few steps from the main entrance. Host very accessible and accommodating. Hot water, water pressure and WiFi all very reliable. Excellent stay!

Negative: Very minor but some noise from front entrance and main door, which you get used to and adds to convenience of not having to walk up many stairs.

Summary: Perfect stay in Montpellier!
