Positive: Amazing property, our Aurora cabin with the private jacuzzi and the direct view over the sea was breathtaking. The view from the cabin wall glass looked like a living sureal painting. The bed was utterly confortable. We almost made the most of the artic sauna and of the nearby refreshing artic sea. We could see a full spectrum of Northern Lights just above the cabins on our last night which was the cherry on the cake !

Negative: The menu at the cafe was a little bit limited for people staying more than a couple of nights

Negative: Kettle inside room with water from previous occupant. Cup inside room with coffee from previous occupant. These mean no cleaning by staff. Bed far too soft and thus not comfortable

Positive: The ambience, we experienced the best northern lights every night without stepping out from the resort. Staffs were friendly & helpful. Considering the remoteness everything was more than sufficient. We really enjoyed the rugged beauty.

Negative: Please be prepared for a living without urban facilities, nearest convenience store is 15 mins drive, have to adjust with basic facilities. Communication would be a challenge if you don't have a vehicle with you, only bus 350 is available twice daily both way.

Positive: Fantastic stay with an amazing view, hot tub and all the facilities to make it comfortable too. Great breakfast and very lovely staff, everything made our stay memorable! The location is also just perfect, Trailhead Åndervatnet right across the street to enjoy some nature and do some snow shoeing if you prefer.

Summary: Can’t recommend this enough!

Positive: If there were an 11, I would give it! We rented one of the four seaside facing rooms. They are, in essence, a tiny home that is so well designed and featured. The seaside rooms were pricey but worth every penny! We were extremely fortunate to look out on a million dollar view of the mountains and sea and our stress just melted away. It was extremely quiet inside and very comfortable and we stayed up late just watching the clouds roll by and be very mindful. The breakfast was terrific. Service outstanding. Directly across from the National Park. We spent almost two weeks traveling from Tromso to Reine and this was by far our favorite spot. Kudos to everyone in making this an unforgettable experience. You really did a great job with those rooms and experience!

Negative: The breakfast was terrific, but if you are a vegetarian it was limited. Still was outstanding.

Summary: The most incredible hotel of our two weeks in Norway. Stay in the seaside cabins!
