Positive: Lodge was done up really nicely with lots of unexpected, thoughtful extras and great attention to detail. Our boys loved the selection of toys, the night light and the bed rail was really helpful. Plus having the heating on ready for our arrival on such a cold day was great. Kitchen was well kitted out with lots of useful things and the family were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Positive: The lodge was well equipped and so convenient to the location we were visiting. The facilities in the lodge were excellent.. couldn’t fault it.

Negative: I don’t want to answer this question as it would be nit picking!” Excellent property excellent facilities just need a bread board!! We will be back!

Positive: The grounds was stunning! The lodge itself was stunning! We only met Louise whilst she was taking the horses out but she was welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home! The communication from Graham and Louise was nothing like we’ve had before! We stay away with work pretty much every week and we’ve never felt more welcome! and the booklet was filled with so much information and the emails from them! They were both fantastic hosts (thank you!!) both bedrooms had an ensuit which was perfect for both of us! It’s so peaceful! I highly recommend this lodge because I’ve never felt so at ease in a place and as a female I felt incredibly safe!

Negative: No negative comments ONLY positive!!!

Positive: The location was superb. Peaceful and quiet with the added bonus of horses in the paddock opposite. Both bedrooms were well presented and comfortable, both had en-suites. It was good, one had a bath and the other had a nice rainfall shower. The wood burner has the focal point of the whole property as it was nice to cosy up, watch TV and keep nice and warm. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare a nice meal. Louise and Graham were warm and welcoming and fantastic hosts.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay complemented by horses in the paddock.
