Positive: Beautiful property & wood work. Host was thoughtful and had heaters and lights on for our arrival. He also stopped by to show us around the house. This was our first time to Japan, so it was a fun adventure staying here and experiencing a traditional home with tatami & futon sleeping. We arrived late to town and with it being off season we couldn't find restaurant, so we did a convenience store dinner and fully equipped kitchen was nice to use. The next morning we walked down by the water after loading the car and couldn't believe how clear and beautiful the view was of Mt Fuji.

Negative: Steep stairs, so luggage had to be left on first floor. Certain areas of home including, toilet closet and shower area were quite cold, but again, we were here during off season.

Positive: The whole house was cozy, it was different from other airbnb's and hotels I stayed, it was peaceful and quiet rested on a quiet town, It is a place for those who want to experience the simple Japanese life on a countryside town by the sea.

Positive: Scenic quiet location right by the water, able to see Mt Fuji on a clear day. A few good restaurants around that are able to be reached by foot, as well as a combini. Beautiful rustic home with neat details everywhere.

Negative: With the nature of the old home there is some general dust around, that but was to be expected. Able to reach with bus but would recommend car for most comfort.

Summary: Memorable seaside stay, quiet and beautiful, off the beaten path.

Positive: Very spacious and clean house. It has two floors and plenty of room (we are two adults traveling with our one year old daughter). Sleeping on the floor mattress was very comfortable and also very convenient since our daughter could not fall out of the bed. The kitchen is super well equipped. There is everything you need. Luckily the house als had an AC as it can heat up a lot. The host was very nice, always responsive and helped us a lot when our daughter got sick. Thank you, again!

Negative: The house is located in a very small city so it is mandatory to have a car. Supermarket, restaurants etc are a bit further away.
