Positive: One of the best accommodation on our Japan trip. Elia and Yurie did a great job. Highly recommended for all of those who want to stay in a beautiful traditional Japanese house. Elia is an Italian Chef and offers delicious dinner too. We arrived initially by train and the host offered a transfer from Matsumoto train station. The next day we took the bus for the city and back, which was quite easy as the nearest bus station is located just about 20 Meters from Nonna Milli. (300 yen one way). Breakfast was very delicious, European style with real Italian coffee. We recommend to stay at least 2 or 3 nights as there are so many things to to do and to visit in the surroundings.

Positive: Great Japanese home stay, beautiful room with Futons and Tatami floors. Comfortable mattress available if you struggle with a futon. Elia the host provides breakfast and can also provide dinner. He and his wife are both chefs and the food was great. Nice place to stay in Matsumoto away from the big hotels. Recommended.

Positive: Amazing rooms one for sleeping and one living room very spacious! Great to discover the traditionnal house of Japan! The hosts were amazing and very helpfull giving us many recommendations on public transport and places to visit in the town !! Overall my favorite stay of my trip I will definitely try to book again if I visit Matsumoto again

Negative: Nothing I dissliked the only downside is that the guest house is located a bit out of the city so the public transportation was not the best but this is also nice to be out of the city in more calm area

Positive: This is a really beautiful original japanese tatami room. A rare opportunity to live in a room in traditional style.

Negative: The house is in the suburbs of Matsumoto. So you should better have your own car to get anywhere

Positive: Elia is super nice and helpful, the house is 60 years old but it was so well renovated and maintained that I thought it was newly built! We had the best night of rest after 2 days hike in Nagano. Super host with super comfort, we plan to come back again and stay longer next time, there is so much to explore and to do around the area!

Positive: Elia was an amazing host, who went above and beyond at every step. He and his wife have a fantastic home, and it was the most beautiful location I have stayed in in Japan yet. He's also a professional chef so even his breakfast was delicious, and his garden in the back was superlative.
