Positive: We loved the location. Ted and his staff were amazing with all their help and everything to know regarding the area. Ted really was so helpful. The kayaks on the lake were great too. It’s was a good stop off long in our journey through Japan.

Positive: Beautiful location on the lake, with plenty of summer activities (kayaking, SUP, swimming), walking distance from several restaurants. Friendly staff (Ted, the owner, and Shota will treat you like family and speak both English and Japanese). We ordered a BBQ one night, and it was an incredible assortment of local produce and meats and breakfast was also nice. Room and facilities were clean. They had all the amenities we needed for our stay - free tea and coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer.

Negative: It was a very old building (as many in Japan are). The beds were not very comfortable.

Positive: I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded my expectations — the room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, with a beautiful lake view. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was delicious and of great quality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Positive: We had a great , relaxing family getaway at Nojiri Lake Resort. Ted and his staff were excellent hosts and really made our stay a memorable one. Breakfast was excellent and Ted also prepared a vegetarian dinner upon our request. The Resort offers a beautiful view of the Nojiri Lake with the majestic mountains surrounding it. We would definitely love to come back again, perhaps during the summer.
