Positive: My kids thought it was the best hotel they ever stayed at. The Noctarium is a truly unique experience. It used to be an actual movie theater with hundreds of seats, and the host built multiple bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, a laundry room, and a working kitchen where the movie theater lobby would be. The decorations create an immersive experience that feels like you have an entire movie theater all to yourself. So much fun!

Positive: Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Only a 30 minute ride to several Gotemba attractions and a one minute walk to the train station! Epic private movie theater and so spacious.

Positive: What's there not to like?? The location is just right across the street from Gotemba station! With plenty of good food and transport options right at the doorsteps. Kosuke was a friendly and responsive host throughout the whole experience and his passion and thoughtfulness shows through how he renovated the interior of the building. The space was uniquely rustic and relaxing, with tin cans amplifying the music, film tapes adding accents to the lighting and even doubling as a business card! There were plenty of other special points which I shall not spoil in this review. Apart from the amazing theater, another thoughtful luxury were the heated beds which help alleviated the winter cold.

Negative: It's slightly dusty, but it is perfectly understandable as it is actually an amazingly large space and it even adds slightly to the atmosphere.
