Positive: The cottage was beautiful, very tastefully decorated, very clean, fully equipped kitchen, soft towels in for each guest and beautiful hand soap and shower gel provided in both bathrooms. The owner was lovely and looked after us very well, with those extra touches which made us feel welcome, such as a complimenary welcome pack with, milk, fruit crisps, biscuits and coffee and tea and a chocolate provided on your bedside tables. The cottage was a few mins walk from the shops, cafes and bars, 5 mins walk from Ruskin View and the radical steps down to the river, we're it took approx 15 mins to walk to Devils bridge. A would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely return.

Positive: The property was wonderful - located centrally in Kirkby Lonsdale - and equipped with everything you could need! There was a generous welcome basket including fresh milk and eggs, and there were flowers and fairy lights dotted throughout that added to the cute, cosy atmosphere on our arrival. Comfortable beds and lovely facilities made for a perfect stay

Negative: The outside seating wasn’t very private when the neighbouring houses were also outside, but everyone was very friendly and welcoming!

Positive: Property was clean,tidy and thoughtfully decorated. The owner provides in detail all the facilities and household items you may need. Good central location. The owner was easily contactable as and when necessary.

Negative: As discussed with the owner during our stay there were “plumbing” issues in main bathroom and second floor toilet. Did not realise parking was not a designated space outside property but we did manage to get a space close to property throughout our stay.

Summary: Enjoyable stay in KL despite a few plumbing issues.
